Among the many gifts that our dad gave to us and everyone who knew him was his laughter. He loved to laugh, did so easily and loudly, and made all of us laugh harder than anyone we know. He was a fan of puns, corny jokes, colorful characters, wacky stories, and the foibles of the human condition. I can still hear his hyena-like laugh in my head, I wish I could have bottled it and kept it for those times when all seems dark and despairing.

I too remember his laugh, very infectious. He laughed a lot. I knew Dan back in Denver in the early 80’s. I owned an animation studio called Celluloid, and Dan created some artwork for some animation we did. I’m sorry to hear of his passing. I remember him with fondness. Blessings to all his family.

Hi Jeff, Were you friends with Tim and Gail and/or his rep Kathleen Cornell back in the day? I remember going into Denver with him on many of those presentations. Amazing he supported all of us on his artwork, that is an incredible thing.
Thanks for your kind words, he is terribly missed by us all.

Hi Daisy,
Kathleen was also the rep for Celluloid for several years. We got to know your dad when he did the character and background design for one of our earliest commercials, which involved a parade of cookies marching down the street, set on the island of Trinidad. He helped to make it a really fun project.
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Jeff
